Quality Assurance Auditor (Entry Level) - Temporary/Contract

We are currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Auditor to join our facility, located in Kamloops, BC.  The Quality Assurance Auditor will ensure the accuracy of container counts for the various Used Beverage Container (UBC) collection network. The Auditor will be on the front line ensuring the integrity of UBC collection system. This position will report to the Plant Manager,

This is a temporary/contract position (12 months with the possibility of extension)

What will you do?
  • Performing daily bag audits ensuring accurate reporting using manual and electronic data entry, including the operation of Anker Anderson high speed counting machinery;
  • Cleaning, calibrating and maintaining various Encorp QA Workstations;
  • Assisting in the coordination and workflow at the facility;
  • Conducting warehouse inventory;
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work area;
  • Supporting the safety, security and integrity of the facility operations;
  • Answering phone calls and providing customer service;
  • Other related duties as assigned.
 
What will you bring?
  • Currently enrolled or completion of post-secondary program in related discipline;
  • Strong skills in using technology and MS Office, particularly MS Word and Outlook;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with employees at all levels of the organization;
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • Ability to conduct critical analysis of situations in order to determine root cause of deviations;
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to an evolving work environment.
