Production Worker - $14/hour

Canadian Liquids Processors Ltd is a multifaceted recycling/manufacturing company operating out of Hamilton Ontario. The Production worker is responsible to process liquid based products while maintaining a safe workplace environment. The Production worker may be exposed to unpleasant odors and work in all-weather elements.  The roles reports directly into the Plant Manager


What will you do?
 
  • Perform duties in a safe manner in compliance with all Company policies;
  • Ensure PPE equipment is used;
  • Inspect materials and sort items or materials into designated areas;
  • Separate packaging;
  • Perform cleaning duties related to plant equipment and general housekeeping;
  • Report system problems immediately to Supervisor;
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area and surrounding area;
  • Maintain an excellent attendance record and an excellent safety and work quality record;
  • Other duties as assigned.
 
 
What will you bring?
 
  • MUST be able to work with alcohol (Recycled alcohol products);
  • MUST be 19 years of age or older;
  • Steeled toe boots (covering ankle) must be worn;
  • Must  be able to follow direction and adhere to all safety requirements;
  • Must be able to perform repetitive / physical tasks for extended periods of time and lift items of up to 25lb
 
Working Conditions:
 
  • Exposure to extreme weather conditions;
  • Exposure to dust, noise, heat, cold and fumes found in a shop environment;
  • Exposure to unpleasant odors;
  • Exposure to warehouse equipment;
  • Work is scheduled in shifts of 8 hours
